Amir I. Makled works with the Law Offices of Cyril C. Hall and Associates, a firm that specializes in Criminal Defense, Immigration, Civil Litigation, and Civil Rights. He is an advocate on behalf of human and civil rights and has worked extensively with Arab and Muslim communities in the Metro Detroit area. Mr. Makled is board member of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) Greater Detroit Chapter, board member of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Metro Detroit Chapter, and and active Arab American Civil Rights League, Super Lawyer since 2014, among others. Prior to joining private practice, Mr. Makled clerked in the Wayne County Corporation Counsel tax division as well the Wayne County Third Circuit Court. He is also active in the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, a group dedicated to excellence of trial lawyers. Mr. Makled also operates Checker Collision, a full service body shop in the Woodbridge Neighborhood located in the City of Detroit. He received his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University School of Law and earned a Bachelors in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
