While at Howard University Law School, Cyril Hall was awarded the title of Clinician of the Year, an honor bestowed upon the senior student who personified the most outstanding qualities of a Howard graduate. Cyril Hall set a record that still stands, as the student-lawyer who represented more indigent criminal defendants than any other individual. His parents, Bessie and Mack Hall, instilled this quality of caring for his fellow man in him.
For over thirty-five years, the Michigan State Bar has been blessed to have an individual of this statue and ability as Cyril C. Hall as a member. It is with great admiration and respect that we expect him to provide another thirty-five years of leadership in the field of law and helping his fellow man.
Cyril Hall was the pride and joy of the Hatchett Law Firm. It was through the Hatchett Law Firm that Cyril came right out of high school, hand in hand with his high school teacher and counselor, Mr. John Crump, who advised the firm that Cyril and his friend, Ronald McDuffie, were destined to become lawyers. They worked every summer until they went on to Howard University Law School. After graduation, they joined the firm as staff attorneys and eventually became partners. Without a doubt, Cyril Hall is one the finest lawyers that the Hatchett Law firm has ever produced.
Cyril Hall’s unique practice, trial skills, and experience has gained him prominence in the legal field and allowed him to serve, engineer justice and protect the constitutional rights of all his clients.
